A la ceremonia de conmemoración asistieron el presidente del CHP, Özgür Özel, el presidente del Partido Memleket, Muharrem İnce, el hijo de Deniz Baykal, Ataç Baykal, el candidato a la alcaldía de Etimesgut por el CHP, Erdal Beşikçioğlu, y numerosos miembros del partido.
